24-hour Prayer Vigil … Hour 18

A quiet widow arrives with her prayer guide and Bible in hand. She makes mention that she grew up Lutheran so she knows the Lord’s Prayer, the Creeds, and so forth. “Now,” she says, “I’m going to learn how to pray.” What an exciting and humble statement. Allowing herself to learn and change and be swept more into God’s life.
