24-hour Prayer Vigil … Hours 7-12

And then it was time for me to rest a bit, take a tortured nap, and prepare for my next stint as the prayer attendent.

The storms rolled in again. Yet no one was deterred. Our compassionate care minister attended and prayed. One friend of mine flipped on more lights during his prayer time and reset the projector (MediaShout script rolling meditative images), then couldn’t get it to come back on. And he’s an engineer no less! God thank you for your sense of humor.

The night was the time for the night-owls: the young, the diligent, the readily available. How beautiful a picture of humanity God is painting with these pilgrims who participate in the vigil.
