24-hour Prayer Vigil … Hours 15-17

I’m finding unusual hope and focus in the tapestry of stories God is weaving with these pilgrims who come to pray.

Hour 15 … a “life-long member” couple spends an hour in prayer.  I’m praying they will be open to the newness of God.  They have much prayer and sacrifice already invested in Christ’s kingdom through this local faith community.  Will they be willing to sacrifice everything for what God wants to do?

Hour 16 … a relatively new believer friend of mine quiets himself in prayer.  He has a keen ability to sense the connectedness of people and relationships and systems.  What wonderful dreams is God inspiring in him even now?

Hour 17 … a servant-leader and young family friend join in prayer.  Their stories are similar, yet tragically different.  One a mother of three (2 already in adulthood) the other just entering her teen years.  One a spiritual mentor who is able to develop a life of spiritual transformation in the other.  What amazing possibilities.

SO TELL ME SOMETHING:
What personal stories of those in your sphere of influence surprise you?  Why?

Sounds like God is doing exciting and mysterious new things. I’m anxious to know what comes out of this. What an amazing, appropriate way to align ourselves as the body of Christ.
