Matt Mings on 24-hour Prayer Vigil … Hours 13-14
Hour 13 … I met a new friend. He’s not part of this faith community, but works with someone who is. He heard about the vigil and wanted to pray. Who knows how God will use this hour in his life! It’s fun to be surprised.
Hour 14 … an elderly couple, who surely don’t like getting up this early on a Saturday. I appreciate their sacrfice of ease and comfort. They said, “We need that” when leaving, commenting on how all of life has become a prayer for them. Thank you, LORD, for seasoned followers of the Way who still seek to serve and grow.
